Can I still supplement a roof that's already built?

Run the GRS list again before the file closes. If something was missed and should be there, add it and back it up with photos, code, manufacturer specs, or the measurement report. Carrier and lender requirements vary.

Why send a letter to the homeowner?

When a supplement is approved, the ACV amount is released to the insured. Your supplement letter, sent with a self-addressed stamped envelope, gives them a simple way to send those funds back to you, so the job stays funded as it goes instead of at the very end.

Is this public adjusting or done-for-you estimating?

No. SSS is education and training. You do the work; SSS teaches the process.

Will this get my claims approved, or increase my estimate?

No one can honestly promise that. SSS teaches you how to build supportable, well-documented requests. What happens with any individual carrier or claim isn't something SSS can guarantee.

Do I need experience to use this?

No. SSS is built for newer contractors (roughly years 1 to 3) as much as experienced teams. The classification system is designed to be learned, not assumed.

I already pay an outside supplement company. Why would I need this?

Outside help can still be useful. But understanding your own claim financials is your job either way, no matter who writes the supplement. SSS teaches you what to look for and how to evaluate the work being done on your behalf.

What is Claim Confidence™?

Claim Confidence™ is the 10-strategy system for running exterior supplements in-house. It's not a bundle of templates. It teaches how to classify every missed item, when to hold production, and how to reconcile every file before it closes, from initial estimate review through final reconciliation. The presale is open now at $600 (regularly $1,000), and access opens Friday, October 9.

Does this cover water mitigation or fire?

No. SSS and Claim Confidence™ focus on exterior storm restoration: roofing, siding and the exterior trades. Water mitigation and fire are not covered.

Is this legal advice?

No. SSS does not provide legal advice, public-adjusting services, or done-for-you estimating. Consult a licensed professional for claim-specific or legal questions.

What if I can find this information free online?

Line-item tips are everywhere. A classification system tied to timing, funding, and reconciliation, taught as one repeatable process, is what SSS provides.
